The County Community Players, est. in 1989, built to promote the talent of the community.
Calling all young adventurers! The County Community Players will be holding auditions for She Kills Monsters (Young Adventurers Edition) on Sun. Feb. 8 in the UMPI MMG Center at 6pm and Wed. Feb. 11 in the UMPI Allagash Room at 6:30pm (both in the Campus Center Building).![]()

Set in the mid-90s, this teen-focused production tackles topics that will be familiar to many modern teenagers: loss, bullying, LGBTQ+ issues, and friendships, each explored through the lens of a tabletop role-playing campaign!![]()

Auditioners are welcome to attend a single audition or both. Readings will be provided and no monologue needs to be prepared ahead of time. We are welcoming online auditions as well. If you wish to submit an audition online, please record a 2-5 minute monologue from a fantasy movie, play, or book of your choice and email it to thecountyplayers@gmail.com by Feb 10th.![]()

Rehearsals will generally be Sundays from 2-5pm and Tuesdays/Wednesdays from 6-8:30pm at UMPI. Performances will be the weekend of April 17-19. We're aiming to be as flexible as we can with scheduling, and actors won't need to attend every rehearsal. ![]()

The recommended age range for participants is 12-19, though there are a few roles that can be played by adults. We are also looking for folks of all ages who would like to work behind the scenes. As with all CCP productions, there is no cost to participate. If you have any questions, please send them to parker@thecountyplayers.org.
